Formerly known as Atlantic Broadband, Breezeline is an internet service provider that operates under Cogeco Communications.
Apart from broadband, it offers TV and phone services using a combination of coaxial cable and fiber to the premises network. Currently, Breezeline operates in 12 states and has more than 700,000 broadband subscribers as of 2021.
Cogeco Communications said they will slowly integrate the company’s Columbus and Cleveland operations under the Breezeline name by summer 2022.
That said, Breezeline users are now reporting that the service is down. Many are expressing their frustration on social media platforms like Twitter.
Down detector – a popular service that gives information about live outages – has several reports indicating that Breezeline internet is indeed down or not working for some.
Below is a screenshot of the outage map showing the most recent areas in the US where Breezeline users have complained about the outage.

While Breezeline acknowledged internet service is down in the Miami Beach area, their website indicates that everything is working as intended. Also, there is no ETA of when the service will be restored.

We hope Breezeline soon fixes connectivity issues so people can use the service once again.

05:10 p.m. (IST): Many users have taken to Downdetector to report that Atlantic Broadband is currently down or not working for them.
Update 2 (August 18)
08:56 a.m. (IST): Breezeline team has not yet acknowledged the issue. Instead, they are responding to reports saying that they will follow up on the situation.
